Star Background

About Us

My photo
I have recently decided that we are superstars. I work full time as an ABA Consultant and am a full time student working toward my psych degree. I have the most amazing man in my life - Rob is every dream come true that I have had. He works hard, plays hard, and we are making our dreams come true one day at a time. We are the proud parents of 6 cats and 2 dogs. Ya. It is a circus but I love every minute of it!

Photo A Day 2.13.2011- African Night

Rob and I went to African night at UNO on Thursday. There was dancing and drums. A fashion show during which we were showed how to tie the dresses in several different ways. There was food and it was pretty crowded! What a great night and a fun time! Rob's favorite part was listening to the drums. I really liked watching the dancing!

Photo A Day 2.12.2011- Students

This is the last picture I recieved.  I saved it for the last post in this series since right now this is all about homework.... The life of a student pretty much revolves around class and homework. Here is to all my fellow students!!

Nik's homework in law school
Just a final thought... thanks Rachel!

Photo A Day 2.11.2011- Food!

The next submissions to my picture request made me hungry and jealous.

New Orleans chips

Photo A Day 2.10.2011- Aaron!

Here is another photo from my picture call. This is the only photo I received from a mother that had the lucky opportunity to be with her beautiful boy in the middle of the day. I think that says a ton about American culture and how busy we are! And just so you know- this little cutie is my nephew!!

Arianna and Tommy's little Aaron.

Photo A Day 2.9.2011- Driving

This post is kinda a continuation of my last one.... these pictures were the second most common picture sent to me in response to my request of immediate pictures. What a lot of time we spend on the road!!!

Photo A Day 2.8.2011- Work

I sent out a mass text to many of my friends and family to take a picture of what they were doing right at that minute. Many of the responses were work related and they are pictured in this post! I think it shows how broad the American work force is!

How funny are these!!! If only they worked as easily as they advertise!  I thought I would add this picture to my culture project because it shows how we view men and that they should be changed in order to fit into our "perfect man" ideal. How silly.
