Rob's company picnic was held at the zoo again this year and we had a good time! It was not very hot and there was a nice breeze.

Today while shopping for fun toys for my traveling toy box at the Dollar Tree I came upon these. Had to snap a shot and share. I had packs and packs of these when I was younger....my little sister doesn't remember them at all though so I guess these cards ended during my generation! I feel so old!

Mosquito bites

Today we tackled the backyard again! Now that poison oak is starting to subside.... Rob and his friend Ricky rented an auger and drilled all the post holes for the new fence!! Woohoo!!!! Cassidy was very scared of the auger and had to be put inside during the drilling... however she was very concerned for us and never left the sliding glass door. While working outside my leg started itching and I started FREAKING OUT!!! I ran in the house and scrubbed my leg with the poison oak soap.... then I realized that it was just a plain old mosquito bite. WHEW!!!!! Still though... these mosquitos don't mess around!!

Photo A Day 3.30.2011 - Kitty Declaw!

The Kittens are all declawed now!!! I know that many people don't agree with declawing.... but I don't care! Now that there are no claws we can get curtains (instead of blankets) and new furniture!! This picture is of Athena hangin her little paws off the kitty shelf. I am sad that it hurts them so much, but it makes such a happier house for everyone involved and they heal and forget it in about a month! They have all started sitting up like mere cats too... it is adorable!

Today there were tornado warnings and it started to hail! In this picture the white streaks are pieces of hail... It was crazy and Rob got stuck at work because the streets were flooded!! Silliness!

Photo A Day 3.28.2011 - Ugh... Poison Oak STILL!!!

So my poison oak rash was almost gone and then it came back with a VENGANCE!!! I went back to the doctor and got another shot and another set of meds... it really sucks.

Photo A Day 3.27.2011 - Happy Anniversary Baby!!!

I know it is blurry.... Haven't had a chance to scan in the picture for a good one....

Necklace that Rob got me for our anniversary!

Our anniversary was on the 22nd, but we waited until the 27th to celebrate. We went on the Riverboat Nachez on the Mississippi river and had an amazing time! There was a great jazz band and it was just so relaxing and romantic. The necklace that Rob got me he explained to me that it symbolized our family. One heart is his, one heart is mine and the stone is Chloe's birthstone. What a great honey I have. I love him so much!

Tonight Rob and I went to International Night at UNO. It was awesome!! There was great food and really cool booths! Then there were some incredible performances to finish out the night! Unfortunately I forgot my camera and didn't get to take any pictures... :(
