Star Background

About Us

My photo
I have recently decided that we are superstars. I work full time as an ABA Consultant and am a full time student working toward my psych degree. I have the most amazing man in my life - Rob is every dream come true that I have had. He works hard, plays hard, and we are making our dreams come true one day at a time. We are the proud parents of 6 cats and 2 dogs. Ya. It is a circus but I love every minute of it!

Photo A Day 2.20.2011- Sushi!!

Sushi!!! For years I shunned sushi due to an unfortunate experience with a California roll in high school. However.... I finally tried it again and I totally LOVE IT!!!! I have a pretty constant craving for sushi now. As I was adding all these pictures today (since I had been slacking off) I realized I was hungry and the first thought I had was "I wish there was a sushi place around here that delivered". This would come as a huge shock to many of my friends since I would typically excuse myself from festivities if it involved going to a sushi place. No Longer my beloved friends!! We can do sushi together now!!!

Photo A Day 2.19.2011- Hurt little piggies!!

Eeeewwwww.... ok. So I don't usually post yucky pictures of my toes.... but I had to show someone!! Look how purple they are!! They are falling off!! And this is all because I ran in shoes that didn't fit right!

When they hurt after running I thought that it was just because I had not ran in such a long time that they were just sore from actually having pressure put on them. But I was told by a friend that if my shoes are too tight or too loose then they will damage my toenails because either they will have too much pressure on them or the nails will bang into the shoe causing them to bruise and fall off.

So I of course bought new shoes. Now I just have to wait for my poor little toes to heal.

The only thing that is keeping me awake today.
YAWN!!!!

Photo A Day 2.17.2011- Barbara

Today my sister in law's mom passed away. She was a remarkable woman and will be missed very much. I am going to dedicate today's post to her.

I will only steal one picture from Angie- I just wanted to share with everyone how wonderful Barbara was.  I only had the pleasure of visiting with her 3-4 times but always left knowing that she thought I was important and was proud to know me.

Until we meet again. <3

Photo A Day 2.16.2011- Kitten Shenanigans!!

Today I am featuring kitten shenanigans!! I left my applesauce cup on the floor after I was done with it and they decided it would be good to clean up after me! Such helpful kitties!!

Deagan's first try

Figaro kept getting stuck

he would walk backwards trying to get away from the cup...

finally he realized he could get it off if he used his paws!

Photo A Day 2.15.2011- Guilty Pleasures

I posted a question on my facebook account today asking which television show was a guilty pleasure for people.  In order for it to be a guilty pleasure it has to be something that is not targeted to your group but you still find not just entertaining but slightly addictive.... I of course answered with "Pretty Little Liars" and "Glee".

Here are some of the other responses with names of course taken out.... to save the innocent. :)

Glee was the winner far above any other mentioned show.....

Photo A Day 2.14.2011- Heart felt Conversation

Today is Valentines day and guess what. I am not getting home to see my honey until around 9:30 tonight. Late night school sucks. Oh well. I brought a bunch of conversation hearts to my Cultural Anthropology class to share with my classmates that were stuck spending valentines night with me... Many of them had never seen or heard of conversation hearts so I guess I was successful in sharing a part of American culture with them! :)
